From Source to Solution: Tackling Packet Losses in Large-scale Cloud Gaming Systematically and Precisely

云游戏要求视频帧在严格时延期限前送达,但丢包会显著放大帧时延,并削弱现有恢复机制的效果。该工作基于腾讯 START 云游戏的生产测量,识别可避免的丢包来源与低效的丢包检测问题,并提出结合丢包避免、检测与恢复的 LADR 框架。LADR 已在腾讯 START 部署一年,可使 99.87% 的视频帧在 100 ms 内送达。
